This year’s University of Divinity graduation service was nothing short of magnificent.  St Patrick’s Cathedral stood tall and proud and the beauty and majesty of this stunning piece of architecture simply added to the significance of the occasion.  Graduation is an opportunity for students to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made in pursuit of a sacred calling: it’s a time to breathe-in the import of the moment and allow oneself a few precious moments to feel the ‘well done’ deep in the heart.  And it’s a time to celebrate – as we did – with champagne, laughs, and good friends who had travelled the journey with us.  It was a privilege to share in the night and to be able to congratulate our graduates on a wonderful achievement.
