Kewn Kreestha (Gaelic for ‘Quiet of Christ’) in Croydon, has been for decades, a sanctuary for caregiving, compassionate ministry and service, thanks to the Family Care Sisters. Generations of women have come through its doors for healing, respite and nourishment.

The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart became the proud owners Kewn Kreestha today.

What an exciting moment for Heart of Life!  After forty years of wandering around Melbourne, Heart of Life has reached the ”promised land’ and has found it to be in Croydon.  We want to express our thanks to all who have been involved in the sale and purchase of this wonderful new home.

We very much look forward to inviting you to come and join us for a reflection event, one of our programs, or simply to drop in for a cup of tea.  We will normally be open during term time from 8.30 – 5.00, Mondays – Thursdays.  When we are there, the kettle is always on.

We would like to make special mention of Family Care Sisters, Jill Harding & Michele Toussaint who have so generously and beautifully managed the transition of their beloved home to us.  Please hold Jill and Michele in your prayers as they begin the next chapter in their ministry. And may we, at Heart of Life, continue the legacy of contemplative spiritual formation, in our way through our work.
